I use my Kindle Fire to play music and audiobooks to my car's speakers and it's a little inconvenient to reach for it back and forth when I want to switch songs or audiobooks. I actually bought a couple of other mounts here from Amazon but those were poorly built and didn't really provide thorough instructions. So I gave this Satechi mount a shot because I was satisfied with another product I purchashed from them before.
This mount works like a charm. Normally it would be mounted on the windshield, but my car has a perfect spot on the center dashboard to mount it. So when I need to change audiobooks or music, I just simply reach to the mounted Kindle and do so. I also found it useful for when I have my children in the back seat.
